A sad farewell
It has been a wonderful 46 years.
We thank you for being a part of our amazing club.
Lifelong friendships were created here, laughter echoed through the rooms. We won countless awards, navigated through impossible times, adapted to everchanging fitness trends, & tried our best to know your name when you walked in the door, & we became the oldest family-owned health club in the country. We have the most amazing instructors and staff and they - as a team - made Webb's what it is and always will be: the best.
We are forever grateful to you all for being part of us.
When a kind family who Greg had built a home for years ago approached Greg inquiring about any property in the area for a Brazilian Jui Jitsu (fastest growing sport in America) & class studio,
we began to think it was time to consider what was always "someday".
Unbeknownst to this nice family, I (Amy) was in the hospital for 6 weeks undergoing a cancer treatment.
I will do great & will live a full life. But, knowing I might ever have to go through a medical journey as long & hard as this 6 week one..we realized this may be the time to step out.
There is never a good time, but this is the right time.
We chose to continue our kind, caring club ways and give advance notice (3 weeks). Of course, anyone with membership time beyond the end of March we will send a check back to you in April. Never worry...it's us.
We are forever grateful to you all.Amy & Greg Webb & our children who grew up at our home-away-from-home: Heather, Curtis, & Gretchen
